Ben Braun

Origination Analyst

Ben joined Seidler Equity Australia in 2026 and is primarily focused on supporting the origination team. He is responsible for conducting industry due diligence and sourcing investment opportunities, as well as assisting several partner companies with acquisition-led growth initiatives.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Seidler Equity Australia, Ben spent 5+ years as a foreign exchange broker in London with several regulated financial services businesses. He built and maintained relationships with C-suite executives to develop FX risk management strategies, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of privately owned companies. He subsequently relocated to Sydney, where he was most recently an Account Executive at an ASX-listed software company.

Education

Ben attended high school in England before pursuing a career in Financial Services.

Outside of Work

Originally from London, Ben lives in Sydney. He is an avid cyclist, recently completing a charity ride from Sydney to Brisbane. He is also a Royal Yachting Association certified sailor and enjoys anything outdoors.
